30th Birthday

Thank goodness for good girlfriends to drag you out of the house on your Birthday :)  I celebrated my 30th Birthday with some sweet girlfriends of mine.  It was also Amanda's Birthday too.  I have met Amanda a couple of times through my friend Kelly & Amanda's 30th B-day was May 28th & mine was May 30th, so we got to celebrate together.  She is soooooo sweet & has two little boys :)  I went out with Amanda, Kelly & Jamie last Sunday night to celebrate.  We went to eat mexican at Agave & then got cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory.
I feel like a picture "mooch".  But, Jamie takes such wonderful pictures!  Thanks for bringing your camera Jamie & documenting our night.  I thought this picture was pretty cool of me & Amanda sitting in front of the fountain at Cheesecake Factory:
So happy to call these girls my friends:

Ideally, I would've loved to have flown home for my Birthday & spend it with my family.  But, we don't always get what we want.  I got to Skype with my family on my actual Birthday.  (which wasn't the best, to be honest)  But, it was still nice to see my family over Skype... even though they ate chocolate cake right in front of me.  :(
This is my Aunt's "signature pose".  She says it makes your face look thinner if you cover up your "gobbler", ha ha:
My dad sported his "Daddy Bonnie & Becky" shirt.  And, we got to see cousin Connor:
 Thank goodness for technology.
Later, my mother-in-law brought by a cake & a card for me.  (which totally made my day)  Me & Jarrett had some cake.  He made a HUGE mess, but looked so cute doing it!
My Birthday was pretty good.  Not the greatest, but I'm thankful for family & friends that love me :)  Hopefully next years will be better.  :P  I also wanted to give all my Blogging friends a BIG "Thank you" on all your sweet comments on my last post.  I got a couple of e-mails too & it really touched my heart that so many of you cared about me.  <3 <3 <3

  1. Hi Bonnie!
I'm so glad you had a girls night out for your birthday! Thank you for inviting me and I'm so sorry I couldn't make it. But I was thinking about you.
I feel like a very bad friend since my gift is late. I actually mailed it earlier today, so you should have it in a day or two. Again, I'm so sorry!
I know you really wanted to be home for your birthday, and I'm sorry that didn't happen. But it does sound like you had a nice time with your girlfriends.
Happy belated 30th birthday sweet friend! Hugs :)
