Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Well, I have some good news & some bad news...

Jason was at Fry's Electronics Friday night (before he came home to me freaking out over a sick baby) & he had entered his name in a drawing. He won a FREE Wii Fit! He is so excited b/c he said he never wins anything. I think the God's are shining down on me to help me lose weight, ha!

The bad news is, my Wii Fit age is 41 YEARS OLD! I guess the machine calculates the actual age of your body based on your weight, body mass index and sense of balance. I gotta work on this. Also, I'm obese according to the Wii! Woo-hoo! I started out with a cute, normal looking Wii character & after it took all of my information, it plumped her up & my Wii turned into a fat, obese Wii! WHAT-EV.

I'm really going to try & use this thing to lose weight. I would love to lose about 30 lbs. Maybe I'll try to start doing a progression post once a week, but this weekend has been awful for us.

Jarrett is still very sick with a cough, congestion & fever. His temp today was 101.6. I feel so bad for him. He hasn't been able to keep formula down. All weekend, all he has had to eat is juice, water & pedalyte. I'm taking him to the pediatrician first thing tomorrow morning. I'll let ya'll know how he is doing. I hope he feels better soon. I just want to get all of this icky-sickness out of our house already!
Look at those poor little puffy eyes & runny nose. (sad panda face)

Hope ya'll had a fab weekend :)

  3. I'm so sorry, Bonnie. Cooper has been sick more times than I care to count since he started daycare. I hope you get a better reaction from your doctor than I did. Mine basically told me there is nothing they can do. I would give Cooper pedialyte, and when he started to feel better I'd mix the pedialyte with formula (as the water). Do you have a humidifier in his room?

  4. Glad you are getting Jarrett in to the Dr. Poor little guy... I feel so bad he's been so sick. Hopefully he'll be on the mend and be back to his old self.

Congrats on the Wii Fit...it's a pretty cool thing. We got it this past year for Christmas. Jeven loves the hula hooping and the yoga!!

Give Jarrett a get-well hug from us :)

  5. I love Wii Fit! I can't honestly say that using it as a workout has helped me lose weight, but it's great for monitoring progress - whenever I get on just for fun, run the test, and see that little line creep up the graph it's an excellent reminder to keep myself (and my snacks) in check :)

  8. Poor baby....it is so sad when babies aren't feeling well - you just feel so helpless. I hope he feels better soon and you can get all this nasty sickiness away for good!
