Stretch Marks

I thought I was going to make it through my pregnancy without getting any stretch marks, but sure enough...they showed up 3 weeks before I delivered! And, they are still with me :P They are at the very bottom of my tummy. I've been using the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark Cream that I picked up at Motherhood Maternity, but they are still pink & not fading much. I just wanted to ask on here if any of ya'll had problems with stretch marks, how long did they take to go away & what did you use on them? If there is a better product out there that will get rid of these babies, I'd sure like to know!

But, I have to say...this guy was totally worth it :)

Does Jason look totally exhausted? (because we BOTH totally are!)

  2. Oh geez! I'm so scared of stretch marks! I have been using Burts Bees Mama Bee since the week I found out we were expecting. I wanted to go all natural with most of my beauty products but now I'm worried I may need something stronger. Apparently Mustella makes a good cream... let me know if you find any great answers - I'd love to hear them!

p.s. Totally worth it - he is SO precious!!

  3. Mine did the same thing. I think I may have shed a little tear over getting them so late in my pregnancy.

Audrey's 2 1/2 and they are just starting to fade. I haven't found anything that makes it go any faster. But like you said, so totally worth it.

  4. I didn't get any on my tummy, but I did get a couple on my thighs and my boobs. After 3 months, mine are still there and it sounds like they aren't going away anytime soon. I have a friend who had a baby a year ago and she said she used Merderma(?) the scar fading medicine and hers went away.

  6. I was told that as soon as you get home, start slathering Mederma on them. A friend of mine said it took about a month of daily using Mederma and hers were gone. I didn't want to pay $30 a tube for the stuff, so didn't do it, and I have stretch marks as deep as the grand canyon. Seriously, I look like a treasure map! But, I figured I'd wait until I'm through having kids before I tried anything, otherwise they'll just come back. You are LUCKY that all you have are some on the low part of your belly. ;) Mine are everywhere, including behind my knees!

  9. I have a couple but they are very light. I was told Mustella had the best so I went and got the double stretch mark cream. I don't know how it is working, but I know it worked for a couple of other friends. Good Luck! :)
