ER

Yesterday Jason & I were at the ER from 8:30 AM until 6:30 PM. What a nightmare it was! (People are so weird & dirty in the ER) Jason had a pain on the entire right side of his body & he was feeling dizzy. He called me from work around 8:00 in the morning & I went & picked him up & took him to the ER. They did an ultrasound on his leg to see if he had any blood clots, an x-ray on his chest, blood tests, heart test & a thyroid test. All of them came back negative, so they don't know what was causing his pain. They think it might be a nerve issue. He is going to follow up with our PCP. I think he is fine now, but that was not a fun day! It might have something to do with him injuring his leg before, but we just don't know. I hate to see him in so much pain & he needs to be healthy for this baby & me. Please pray that God will heal him & he won't have anymore pain.

I ALSO WANT TO SAY "HAPPY 8 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO MY TWIN SIS & T-DAWG!" LOVE YOU BOTH!

  2. Hi Bonnie! Been there, done that. There's NOTHING like a Vegas Emergnecy room is there?! I'm glad that's over and you finally got out of there. I hope and pray that Jason's pain and dizziness goes away for good. Thinking of you...

  5. I work in the ER.
What I can't stand: parents who let their kids run around bare-foot in the ER, or reuse a binky or bottle that falls on the ER floor.

    People think hospital=sterile.
    Think again.
Every sick, funky, dirty, oooozing, pus-filled, pukey, diarrhea-havin' fool has touched that same nasty-ass floor. I'm not sure there is a product/cleaner in the world that I'd trust to rinse & reuse a binky off the ER floor.

I don't even wear my work shoes home!!!!
