My baby is sick

Last night Billie Bean was acting really strange when I got home from work. She couldn't jump up on the bed or chairs & she was dragging her stomach & backside around while she walked. She was acting like she was in a lot of pain. Jason & I thought she had swallowed something & she couldn't digest it. We could not figure out what was wrong with her, but we were so worried. You have to understand, I love these dogs SO much. They have been my best friends while moving to a city where I know nobody. They are always there for me & cheer me up no matter how bad I'm feeling. I love my dogs like they are our children. We've had Milton for over 5 years & Billie for about 4 years. It would kill me if anything ever happened to them.
Well, Jason took Billie to the vet this morning & the vet did a few x-rays. He said that she has injured a few of her lower vertebrates & that he also thinks she might have ate something too. He also said that her left knee & joints aren't fully developed, so its causing her to walk unbalanced & can cause her back pain. He gave her an inflammatory shot in her spin & gave us some pain medication to give her. I hope this all works & she will feel better soon. We want our happy, hyper Billie Bean back! I just want her to be healthy & have a happy life. If anyone is a pet owner, I'm sure they will understand how much this dog means to me. Billie is "my" dog. She loves me the most! (HA) But, both of our dogs get along so well with each other. I just can't imagine one without the other. We love our babies :) Please say a little prayer for Billie Bean & that she will get better soon.
Of course I have to include a picture of Miltie! He has been worried about Bean too.

  12. Hi Bonnie--
I am so sorry to hear your little Billie Bean is sick. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to do a post on Teddy's (our dog's blog--Teddy Time) about Billie Bean :) If that's okay, please let me know. I'm still learning about these blogs, but if I can, I'd love to copy one of the pics. of Billie bean and post it on my blog along with a note asking for thoughts and prayers.
