Nursery COMPLETE (& some other stuff)

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!! I got his bedding in today. I'm SOOOOO excited! I think it looks really cute. I ordered it mid-October & I was so worried it wasn't going to get here. I will probably get some artwork someday to go over his changer & we still need to hang shelves in his closet, but for the most part, his room is DONE. I also need to move the Pack N Play, but I don't know where to put it for now. We didn't do any fancy painting b/c the entire house was just painted before we moved in & I thought the color went fine with sock monkeys :) Here are the pics of Jarrett's Nursery:

Jason & I also worked on the hall bathroom. Jason tore down the tub shower doors (man, was that a task to get all that caulk & grout off!) & we put up a shower curtain & did the bathroom in RED to match Jarrett's room b/c you can enter the bathroom from Jarrett's room or the hallway.

And last, Nana's room is ready for her to come visit! We need some artwork or something in this room too, but it's ready for a Nana visit ;) I think I might set up my sewing table in this room & try to remember how to sew!

***My doctor's appointment went very well today. The nurse said Jarrett's heart rate looked VERY good & she doesn't know why it dropped the other day. She also said I was having some minor contractions...GULP. I'm not sure what that means. If he will come sooner than January 5th, but he is considered full-term as of next week. We can't wait to meet our little man!

  11. His nursery is adorable. We love sock monkeys too!

We are just now finishing up Charlie's room -- now that he's 10 weeks old. The last of the stuff if being made and will be finished by Christmas. Nothing like hosting an event to get you on the ball.

See what happens after the first baby. Lauren's was finished pretty much a month after we found out she was a girl!!!

So glad everything is okay with the baby. You look great, but those ankles...not so great. Please make sure your doctor keeps an eye on your BP. Especially if you go to the type of office where you rotate doctors.

Not long now! So excited for you!

P.S. Love the bible verse...cling to that. He'll be fine!

  12. Hey.
Email me. How was your tour at Summerlin? I need to schedule one of those when we get back from the holidays. Did you guys take any additional courses that are offered up there? Fill me in.
I love the nursery. I think we're going to check out cribs at Dagerman's this weekend. Where did you get yours? Did you buy a 2 or 3 piece set? I can't tell from the pictures.

  18. Frameless shower doors are very economical to purchase and hence they can easily be purchased by the average people. They look very delicate and thin apparently and thus many people are afraid that they would easily break. However the fact is that they are much more strong, thick, and durable than the ordinary glass and this makes their maintenance easier.
